About this course
The MCA course in Patel group of Institution was started in year 2010 with the aim to provide quality technical education to Software industry aspirants and to create world class software professionals.
At PGI we focus on providing a sound theoretical background as well as good practical exposure to students in the relevant areas. It is intended to provide modern, industry-oriented education in computer science and Applications. It aims at producing trained professionals who can successfully meet the demands of the IT industry.
Students are trained in the fields of Computer Networks, Information Storage and Management, System Administration, Web Designing and Development, Database Administration, Cloud Computing, Data Mining and Warehousing, Application Software Development, Enterprise Resource Planning etc.dge.
Real Time Training Students are sent to various reputed companies in IT industry to spend a full semester working by the institute giving them insight into the workings of the IT world and make them familiar with the working environment of the industry and to undertake live projects.
Placements Students at BIST are provided opportunities to appear in the campus selection process of all the reputed MNC’s companies.
Scope
With the digitization of the businesses and organizations, the demand for IT sectors is found to be more in comparison to the other sectors. The demand is so high that the scarcity of IT skilled people is seen in the industry. Consequently, the scope for computer courses is on a rise and there is a high possibility for placements for computer personnel in the current scenario not only in India but also in abroad. Eligibility:-
For MCA:- A candidate shall have passed the qualifying examination of B.C.A./ B.Sc. (Computer Science)/ B.Sc. (IT) / B.E. (CSE)/ B.Tech.(CSE) / B.E. (IT) / B.Tech. (IT) or equivalent Degree or passed any graduation degree (e.g.: B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc / B.Com. / B.A./ B.Voc./ etc.,) preferably with Mathematics, Business Mathematics or statistics at 10+2 level or at Graduation level. For students having no Mathematics background compulsory bridge course will be framed by the respective University/ Institution and additional bridge courses related to computer subjects as per the norms of the concerned University.
