DEPARTMENT FOR CAREER DEVELOPMENT
The Department for Career Development at PGI Colleges is headed by Prof. Satish Choudhary, Prof. Priya Shah & Prof. Hetal Desai Placement officer Planning, Development & Placements, who has been working in the Education Fraternity for more than 10 years and has placed more than 2000+ BBA BCA MBA MCA Sudents in top corporates.
He understands very well the changing demands of the industry and with a Student Centric focused approach towards training them to help reach their dreams, strives to work towards creating Incubations and promoting an Entrepreneurial and Leadership culture among students and get them ready for a better life.
We have a team of experienced and dedicated Faculty to manage Career Development Cell comprising of
STEPS FOR PLACEMENT MCA

Firstly, Placement Cell visit IT companies to understand the company’s work environment and hiring procedures for the current year and also discuss job profile, package and selection criteria.

Conduct Industrial Visits for IMCA students in the 9th Semester and for MCA students in 3rd Semester.

Training Module for students’ cognitive and logical skill development which includes:
- a. Soft Skills
- b. Technical Skills
- c. Personal Interview preparation

4. As per students’ area of interest, we disclosed the job description along with eligibility criteria of company’s requirement and company’s terms and conditions for the job profile to the students.

Placement procedure conducted in two modes
a. Off-Campus b. Open-Campus

Line up interested students for interview as per company’s convenience.

Joining date and acceptance of offer is communicated to the recruiter by the placement cell.

Selected students’ get confirmation mail from company along with offer letter for training and placement.
STEPS FOR PLACEMENT MBA

Conduct Industrial Visit for students to manufacturing or production based companies to understand the work environment.

Placement Cell visit companies to understand the hiring plans for the current year and also the discuss profile, package and selection procedure.

Company representatives share a mail with job description and eligibility criteria.

Disclosed the job description and eligibility criteria in front of students& share Students profile and other relevant details with companies.

Screening is done by the company based on the resume and eligibility & Schedule interview date and time for interested students
